The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.
 

American Heart Association

The American Heart Association is a national voluntary health agency whose mission is: "Building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke."The mission statement was affirmed by the Delegate Assembly at its meetings of June 1993, June 1996 and June 1999. The mission statement undergoes a formal review process every third year.
 

American Red Cross- Hurricane Relief

The HRP (Hurricane Recovery Program) is focused on four areas where the Red Cross can help the most:

  • Providing emotional support
  • Providing vital information and recovery resources
  • Meeting emerging needs
 

Atlantic Classical Orchestra

The Atlantic Classical Orchestra's mission is the cultural enrichment of the Florida communities of Indian River, Martin and St. Lucie Counties, while fostering performance opportunities, music appreciation, and educational services for young people by providing a regularly scheduled program of high quality, live performances of classical orchestral music in Vero Beach and Stuart, played by professional musicians residing in Florida. Atlantic Classical Orchestra's performances are sponsored inpart by the Florida Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs and the Florida Arts Council. The ACO is a non-profit organization.

Humane Society of Vero Beach
